BioHi and welcome to my tutorial page! Like most of you I was new and clueless to the whole fake hair thing. I bought hair and then decided to read quinsters. Then found out I had the wrong hair for what I was doing and had to buy something different.
When I read the site it was informative but didn't help me create the dreads that I make now. What I make now was a combination of asking people on fakehair a ton of questions, having a friend with fake hair experience, trial and error.
Like most I am a visual person and like to see exactly how things are made. That way I have a visual guide I can compare my dreads to. I have also seen an outcry for this sort of thing on the LJ communities a lot lately.
While writing a young lady on fakehair giving advice on how to help her with her bun coverage problem, I turned around grabbed a camera and started taking pictures to help her see what I was talking about. After I made that one I could see that many ladies need the same thing done to help with their questions as well.
So the birth of this page has taken place in hopes to help more young ladies with their questions. I just hope I'm not going to shoot myself for giving away all this info and not have customers anymore...lol. With that said...
